After waiting for a few months to get the tide at the time of day I wanted, luckily it was an overcast day with minimal marine layer, so I was able to still get the shot I wanted of the La Jolla-Scripps Institute pier. The waves at the beach were rolling in and creating an amazing contrast to the pier. Southern California Beaches are hard to beat especially in the winter.
