It was my birthday morning, when my mom stopped by to wish me a happy birthday. We ate a couple of cinnamon rolls and chit chatted when I asked her if I could try a new lighting technique I've been learning on her. She laughed and said I don't have any make up on. It's your birthday, I should be photographing you! I told her, yes it's my birthday so let me do your make up and have fun taking pictures of my mother. Well she couldn't argue with me, since I was queen for the day. So I did her make up and off to the studio we went. I have never seen my mom so tickled about a photo in a long time. She loved it! I think at 63, she is beautiful, and glad I could capture how I see my mom through a daughter's eyes.
