WoW. I like the color, highlights, and extremely shallow depth-of-field. Nice job.

Location
Bigelow Hollow State Park, located in the Northeastern corner of the state only a few miles south of the Massachusetts border. It borders the Nipmuck state forest to the east.Time
This was taken early in the morning while taking a stroll through the woods with my brother who had come to visit me. As we walked down a path in the park, i spotted the fungus which had grown on a fallen tree.Lighting
What drew my eye was the back lighting which shown through the fungus, allowing just enough light to capture its underside.Equipment
This was taken with a Canon A1, hand held, on Kodachrome 64 slide film.Inspiration
It was the sight of this backlit fungus, above my head in the early morning. It was beautiful.Editing
This slide was "stored" in my basement for a number of years and a number of dark spots had accumulated on its surface when I rediscovered it. Restoration required pain staking elimination of the discoloration on the surface of the slide. In my camera bag
My go to camera is now a Sony mirrorless SLR with a telephoto zoom. That's it. Over the years I have grown very reluctant to carry anything other than a single camera and a lens. Too heavy, and changing lenses cuts down on photos taken.Feedback
Walk outside and keep you eyes open.
