It's was a pretty morning the light was just perfect coming over Mt. Lassen. There were finally a few clouds in the sky and I wasn't sure what I was going to end up capturing, if anything, but I knew I just wanted to be outsideEquipment
Canon 6DInspiration
When I saw this car on the side of the road, I knew it would look really great. It still smelled of gasoline from being lit on fire.Editing
I used three images in this HDR shot. I proceeded it first in Light Room, then in Photomatix, and lastly blended my favorite pieces of each image in PhotoshopIn my camera bag
Canon 6D, 24-105 L Series lens, 55 mm lens, Diana lens, batteries, flash, flashlight, and crystals. Also paper, scissors, twine, and ribbon. (Random, but always seem to use it.Feedback
Don't go out with anything specific in mind. Turn down roads and explore places you've never been. Or go to your favorite places and capture something new. And then in post, play and try new things. I like to make my photos look like how it felt, or how I wish it looked- it is what can make your photos so different than anyone else's.
