I took this photo late afternoon, around 4PMLighting
i wanted to capture the crew up in the mast so I made sure I did not have a backlite lightEquipment
I use Sony Alpha SLT-A65VL, with a lence Sigma 28-200mmInspiration
I love old ships boats,the men in of the mast caught my sight and my imagination to what it would be to sail the sea and work the sails.Editing
I changed it to black and white as I felt it was more suitable to that era ship. I also adjusted the light and contrast.In my camera bag
I usually have my Sony and two lences, one for macro shots, 50 mm F2.8 Macro and one foe general shots Sigma 28-200mmFeedback
My only advise is to keep eyes open, look for details. Frame the picture so it is balanced.
