I have never seen this color in Gerbers. Where did you find this?

Behind The Lens

Location

This was originally a pink Gerbera, which was growing in my garden, it had rained and I loved the look of all the rain drops on it.

Time

I can't remember at what time of day, as it is something I do so often and various times of the day

Lighting

There was no special set up, just me and the camera, taking different pictures at different angles, whatever spoke to me at the time.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D200 for this shot, with the lens possibly my daughter's Macro lens

Inspiration

Flowers, they inspire me, the beauty and fragility.

Editing

As it had previously been pink, yes I did post processing, it was at a time when I was experimenting with colour changing images and when it hit this colouring, I just knew, I liked it.

In my camera bag

These days my Nikon D200 stays at home and I use the Nikon 3200 and my favourite go to lens right now is my 55-300

Feedback

For me it has never been about taking that perfect shot and expecting it to go up on social media and be popular, it's about what I get out of taking the image, what I feel and enjoy. I have plenty of images that are not great, that I look back on and think I should have done it differently, but I keep them all, as it shows me how I have changed over the years.
