Location
This photo was taken in Kuusamo wilderness, Eastern Finland.Time
Around midnight it is dark enough this time of year.Lighting
Moonlit night, finalized with Northern lights and reflection from water and clouds.Equipment
Canon 6D, tripod and 180 degrees fisheye lens.Inspiration
Not many dark hours to take these kind of long exposures. Waiting for Auroras to come in a small cottage. No wind, enough clear , moonlight and Auroras in right direction. It was planned, but you never know, if it happens all at same time.Editing
Lightroom post, long exposure needs plenty of contrast afterwards. A bit different post for the sky and water. In my camera bag
Canon 6D, sigma 15mm, zeiss 35, canon 300mm, tripodFeedback
Get familiar to lighting conditions of the region. And just go out there, and the magic happens.
