Location
This was shot in Kemijärvi, Finland. Southern Lapland.Time
It was taken in the only darkest hours around midnight.Lighting
There a full moon on the right side, starry night and finally the Auroras came to finalize the lighting.Equipment
Canon 6D Fullframe and Zeiss 35mm lens open wide F2,0, 15s and tripod needed surely.Inspiration
Driving across the bridge a saw there some haze rising from warm water. I stopped and decided to wait. Clouds started to vanish and it was freezing cold, when the moon came forth. Took plenty of shots and hope the Auroras will appear. And they came finally.Editing
Lightroom basic stuff, lens correction, CAc, whites ,blacks, contrast. I bit different post for the lower water section and sky.In my camera bag
This was a longer trip with car and have everything with me. Canon 6D and 7Dmk2 and G11. Lenses Sigma 15mm Fish, Zeiss 35, and Canon 300.Feedback
These happens by chance, but the more you spend time out there, the better chances to be there in right time. The dreamlike athmosphere came out of the long exposure and floating water, and the crown came from Northern lights.
