This photo was taken in my home, Luna (the cat) was happily resting before becoming the subject of this photo.

I believe this was early evening

Lighting

Lighting was with a Yongnuo YN560 IV

Equipment

Nikon D5200, Yongnuo YN560 flash

Inspiration

The cat looked happy..I also thought she contrasted well against the red of the blanket.

Editing

There is some lightroom adjustments, white balance to bring out her colours also had to reduce the red a little as it had reflected badly on her face. Contrast adjustments and some sharpening.

In my camera bag

Camera, 3 lenses, 35mm Nikkor, and 2 Sigma lenses, flash, cable release, spare batteries...

Feedback

I found that I normally only get 1 chance to capture the cat with flash, after that eyes are shut...
