Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in San Francisco near pear 56

Time

This was taken in the evening around 7pm

Lighting

The sun was setting fast. I was walking and saw this couple just standing at talking to each other. The sun was right on the edge of the tall building and because it was back lit I knew this would made a really good silhouette, but I really liked the rim light it created instead.

Equipment

I used the Leica M240. Personally I think it's the best camera for street photography.

Inspiration

I just love street photography. It helps me slow down and see what's happening around me. Every one is so busy these days, it's good to slow down and observe and let the Curiosity catch what is presented in front of you.

Editing

I used camera Raw and then silver efex for black and white.

In my camera bag

I am a minimalist I dont really carry a bag when do street photography. I roll with a 50 or a 35mm depending on my mood.

Feedback

Just slow down and see what's around you and what people are doing. You can even just sit with the camera in one direction and wait for sown thing to happen. Something might not happen at all you just have to get out and shoot.
