I took this photo at Hunter Army Airfield in a hangerTime
This was taken at about 1 o'clock in the afternoonLighting
Outside obviously at the time of day was creating a lot of harsh shadows. Going in the hanger and standing at the entrance created very good light and the background darker. Which gave the photo more dramatic look that i wantedEquipment
I used a canon 5D Mark iii with the 50mm f/1.2Inspiration
I wanted to capture portraits of people that make a lot sacrifices to make our country better. Being a Army veteran my self i know the sacrifices that are made everyday by our Military members, our police department, Fire department, teachers and doctors make everyday and i wanted to do a personal project to show just some of these great members of our society in the their work environment.Editing
This shot along with he other shots that i took are actually three shots converting into one (panoramic) I took the photos hand held and then used Camera Raw to edit it in Black and white with a few more techniques.In my camera bag
I shoot with Leica M Type 240 with a 50mm f/2 and i have a couple of 5D mark iii's with 24mm f/1.4 35mm f/1.4 85mm f/1.2 and 135mm f/2Feedback
Look for a building or a room that has a good natural light and place the subject facing the light. Its just that simple.
