Yet another trip to the Houston Museum of Natural Science's Cockrell Butterfly Center. These two butterflies are not, of course, the same species, nor, in fact, are they really greeting each other. The Julia, on the left, was actually kind of harassing the red peacock on the right. I just happened to capture the moment when they were both perched on the leaf, facing each other, on camera in one of those serendipitous moments that only happens once so you'd better catch hold of it because otherwise you lose it forever.
