Behind The Lens

Location

In my back yard.

Time

Just about a year ago. Aug 23, 2016 Took around 25 shots that day.

Lighting

All natural light , I believe the sun was still behind the house with no clouds.

Equipment

OLYMPUS IMAGING CORP. E-M5MarkII with the 150 - 300mm at 300mm. 1/320 sec with Iso of 3200 at 6.7 no flash. This was taken free hand. It was just a quick walk before work.

Inspiration

I really enjoy seeing the humming birds around the house. Some years they let me walk right up and other years I have to hide to get a single photo. Wildlife you never know what to expect. be ready for anything, move slow and have fun. Oh yes and lots of patience's.

Editing

My have done a little with cropping. I grew up in the 35mm days so I try very hard to get everything just right before I snap the photo. It has a good and bad effect. :-) I have missed a lot of photo opportunities trying to have everything correct. In return I have also saved a lot of post processing time which is much more important to me.

In my camera bag

OLYMPUS !!!!!! Omd E-m5 and Omd E-m5 Mark II Lens anything from a fish eye to the 300mm A flash, Memory cards batteries and charger, cleaning supplies and a few little trinkets to compose some cute pictures.

Feedback

Sorry, no not really. It is just a hobby for me. Practice, don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, Have FUN!!! Get with some meet up groups, they are always fun and everyone is will to help. Patience, Tripod and preparing in advance. I have taken Hundreds of pictures at the feeder alone to get 10 decent photos and 3 Great Photographs. Enjoy, and make some noise, Shutter noise .....
