Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken early in the morning near Hydeaway Bay Caravan & Camping Park just north of the Whitsunday Islands. I was up early just wondering around without a plan when the reflections caught my eye.

Time

Sunrise, it is when the best images are made :)

Lighting

Having the sun shining directly into your lens is a real problem. Your lenses and filters must be really clean for a start and even the tiniest scratch or chip will cause flare.

Equipment

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EOS 16-35mm F2.8 lens, Manfrotto tripod and Canon cable shutter release

Inspiration

Editing

In my camera bag

A couple of EOS bodies and about 6 L Series lenses. Also a few years worth of accumulated accessories.

Feedback

Get up early and take your tripod
