Being laid off definitely had some benefits. I was able to concentrate on some of my hobbies, including photography. I dropped my son off at school and spent many mornings exploring, and trying to find the proper lighting for some of my favorite subjects. This is Oneonta Gorge in the Columbia River Gorge area, near Multnomah Falls. The cooler months offer privacy and cold feet, as well as amazing views.
