I walked in here midday with no expectations of a decent photograph. As my family and I sat admiring this spectacle, photographers came and left. I could only imagine the HDR that they produced, or the washed out highlights. I watched the shadows shrinking away and begged my family for another hour of patience. I bribed them pizza later to wait with me until the light cleared the bench and struck the churning water below to capture the shot I had envisioned.
