The difficult thing to photograph this bird was not only the fact it was so fast, but also that there were two holes, so I didn't know at which one I should focus my camera. I decided than to photograph the two holes at one time and to wait until the woodpecker would come. After an hour it finally appeared to feed his children. His mouth is full of little insects. The light shining between the trees gave the whole a more romantic atmosphere. Photographed in a park in Bruges, Belgium.
