This picture is taken in Damme, near Bruges, Belgium, while working in a nature reserve. The reserve was on an island in the middle of the polders, only accessible by boat. On the background you see the row of poplars along the channel. There was a mysterious atmosphere: mist, crossing lines, reflections in the water and the sun breaking through the grey clouds ... I'll never say again that a grey day in autumn cannot be beautiful after that day.
