Behind The Lens

Location

I took this at the Tennessee Medieval Faire in Harriman (Roane County) Tennessee.

Time

Early to mid-afternoon.

Lighting

Just natural daylight.

Equipment

Hand-held, Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ150

Inspiration

The actress's enigmatic smile and beauty.

Editing

Post processing was done in PicMonkey. I used color override with a slight fade.

In my camera bag

Primarily, just my Lumix and my cell phone, a Nokia Lumia 1020. I also have the Nikon Coolpix P600, but mostly for its moon preset.

Feedback

Casual, street photography intimidates me... I try to take zoomed shots so that the subject is not aware of me, and thus appears more natural. I'm sure that the actors at the Faire are very used to being photographed, but I still prefer a natural look. The zoom was at the maximum 24X.
