Location
This Photo was taken at my home in Albion Maine. I had an amazing view as my little home was on a hill over looking a field. I have so many great photos from this location.Time
This is the most amazing photo that I have ever taken. I remember walking out of the house, I was on my way to the store around 5:30- 6ish pm. I looked out across the road and saw this and my jaw hit the ground and I ran for my camera. This was the most amazing site. Honestly the photo does it no justice. I came out and took the photo not knowing how it would actually come out. Then I sat there and stared in amazement as the sun continued to go down.Lighting
I honestly didn't have to do a thing for lighting in this photo. This was "oh natural" The timing was perfect. There were two storms , it had just rained and that storm was moving out as another small rain storm was coming in.Equipment
I had a Kodak CX4300 at the time and I was sitting cross legged in my driveway.Inspiration
I am fascinated by color, When I look at something I try to see every single detail that I can, and when I saw this I was so moved and inspired. I had originally named this photo "Is it time" because it actually took me there. It was so powerful and the colors so amazing. The colors were so amazing.Editing
I did not have to process this photo at all. What you see is what you get in this one. That is why it was so amazing. No touch ups no filters no different settings I pointed -focused and clicked. Easy as that!In my camera bag
In my bag I have spare batteries because my new Fugi camera doesn't use a rechargeable battery. Extra memory cards and a granola bar. This bag is usually packed in another bag that has a towel and water and a few other essentials .Feedback
Keep your eyes open and look around as though you are always looking through a camera lens. My Hubby says that I look around like I am looking through a frame. I am always looking for that " perfect Shot"
