I was really pushing the limits of my first digital camera for this shot. It was a Polaroid x530 point & shoot. It was an inferior digital, even in 2005, but it did have the Foveon X3 sensor, which allows for impressive color rendition without interpolation. Obvious vignetting in the corners, which I believe works well in this particular case.
