Thank you all for the congratulations. A lot thought, planning and physical labor went into producing this image.

Location
I took this photo in my former studio in Clovis, CA.Time
Time of day was irrelevant to this shot since it was captured in a studio environment.Lighting
The scene was so illuminated by the lights from the vanity that little additional light was needed. I used one tungsten balanced LED light to fill in shadows on her face and to create a balance with the bright vanity lights.Equipment
A Canon 5D MKII, a 24-70mm 2.8 lens, and a tungsten balanced LED light was used.Inspiration
When I was little I used to be mesmerized by my parents small vanity mirrors that faced each other in their master bathroom. I thought it would look so awesome if they had lights around them. My husband was a trooper and helped me upcycle and illuminate two antique waterfall vanities. They had a real movie star dressing room quality when they were finished. I pictured them with a model with 70's makeup & hair. My MUA Emily Dudley and model Savannah Stoekle really helped this shoot come together.Editing
Very little post processing was needed. I added a little more hair where the vanity was showing through, I did a little skin smoothing and added some blues to the shadows and yellows to the highlights to create a more vintage look.In my camera bag
Canon 5D MKII, a 24-70mm 2.8 lens, a 70-200mm 2.8 and a 600EX RT flash.Feedback
To capture something similar be creative, be conscious of your light and of course find a lovely model and an exceptional makeup artist.
