I took it at home, I am still relatively new to photography, so I don't have a back drop or anything, I simply used my wall as a backdropTime

I used a Canon 6D with the standard kit lens it comes with, which is a 24mm-105mm f4. I did shoot tethered, so that I can take a look at the screen on my computer rather than my little screen on camera.Inspiration
A friend of ours was looking to do headshots, I had never done those before but I was up for the challenge and I wanted to grow my portfolio. The inspiration for this was to simply capture the child in as natural and comfortable setting as I could, I wanted to capture his true personality and essence, rather than something that was posed, which would feel unnatural to meEditing
