I specifically asked the model if she was OK with a close-up of this portion of her anatomy, her delightful reply: "I LOVE my butt, everybody loves my butt, of course it is OK if you love my butt enough to take pictures of it!" Always a good idea to ask nicely...

I echo most of the sentiments previously listed for this photograph. She is a beautiful model, it's a perfect pose I love the lines. In particular being close to Valentine's day, I see heart shapes in the figure of this model. Well done sir.

Location
The model was extremely popular at an outdoor event at a private property, and so I was feeling grateful for an opportunity to work with her.Time
A perfect day with partly cloudy skies in mid afternoon, we were in the shade.Lighting
Natural lighting in mid afternoon was a bit harsh, so we moved to the shade of some large trees, and I used a hot-shoe mounted speed light as fill.Equipment

The inspiration for the shot will seem pretty obvious. I specifically asked the model if she was OK with a close-up of this portion of her anatomy, her delightful reply: "I LOVE my butt, everybody loves my butt, of course it is OK if you love my butt enough to take pictures of it!" Always a good idea to ask nicely.Never try to grab a sneak shot - models know what you're doing and think its creepy. But she seemed flattered and took direction well for minor variations. This shot made my day! Need to put it on a big canvas!Editing
I am a big fan of Photoshop, and can always find ways to improve color and contrast, although this did not require much.In my camera bag
I always have my Canon EOS Rebel T3i, a collection of memory cards, LOTS of batteries for an all day event like this. Also some basic cleaning kit, and 2 more lenses.Feedback
There are not many available models where I live, so sometimes it is nice to seek an event where you are guaranteed to have a variety of talent to work with. It really does not even cost as much to go to an event, considering the location was a well landscaped estate, and it was within 100 miles from home. I still prefer working 1 on 1 with a model, the events can be rather competitive with other photographers sometimes monopolizing the favorite models, but this day worked out well for me.
