Behind The Lens
Location
I actually took this 20 years ago. It was in Vancouver, BC and I was waiting for her to show. I did not know which car she was in.Time
It was early afternoon. It was a Saturday.Lighting
It was completely unmodified. The sun was out and I was happy the pavement was reflective and filled in her face.Equipment
Canon 20d if I remember correctly. I typically use L lenses. This was a wide angle. The camera is not full frame so the body was 1.6x the regular lens.Inspiration
I was hired to create a memorable wedding and the 'arriving' is very important to capture. A unique car rolled up and I raced to the door.. out she came and I kept firing.Editing
Not really. I used Photoshop to get rid of specs, dust etc.. but no need to adjust exposure. In my camera bag
Canon L Lenses, Pro Bodies and 600ex flashes. No Godox stuff - been there done that. You get what you pay for - especially in photography gear. Tenba bags last. Mine is over 25 years old. Lots of relectors and a must now.. Magmod.Feedback
Fire your camera as fast as you can. It will never happen again. With digital it does not matter how many frames you take.. but one of them will be it. Dare to shoot a lot.
