Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at my grandparents house in Hyndman Pennsylvania.

Time

It was mid day

Lighting

I had to use the flash because the cat was under the bed

Equipment

I used my Nikon D3200 with the 18-55mm lens and the cameras in body flash

Inspiration

This particular cat will not let anyone come near him. He sleeps under the bed all day and roams the house at it while everyone is asleep. One day I decided to see if I could get him to come out andhe just sat there looking at me. I decided to grab my camera and see if I could get a picture of him. He stayed right there as I started snapping pictures.

Editing

I just left the picture as is and used a black and white filter

My Nikon D3200, 18-55mm lens, 55-200mm lens, off body flash, tripod, extra batteries, sd cards

Feedback

When trying to capture an animal that is shy, be very patient, very quiet, and let it come as it goes.
