Behind The Lens

Location
Arnold's garden - Rochester NY
Time
Late afternoon after 4:00 PM
Lighting
It was a bit of a cloudy day which cut down on sun glare and made it easier to take a better photo
Equipment
Kodak EasyShare EZ885 Camera
Inspiration
I love to take photos of flowers and this one was very unusual and colorful. Since the flower has lots of spiked petals and had warm colors it reminded me of a fireworks burst in the sky which is why I named it Mother Nature's Fireworks 1.
Editing
Cropping, blemish cleanup and auto setting on my photo software
In my camera bag
Camera, extra batteries, lens cleaner and memory card
Feedback
I use close up auto setting or macro setting for most of my flower photos. I always try to use natural light for my photos whenever possible instead of a flash. I find that a cloudy or semi cloudy day provides some great natural light without lots of glare. As I always say do not be afraid to experiment and take more than one photo at different angles so you can the best one as it does not always happen on your first try.
