Absolutely stunning! This must have taken ages to capture, but worth the wait! Well done!

Actually I got lucky. Shot for about 10 minutes and didn't find a single shot that wasn't amazing. Thank you for the comment and compliments. Shawn

Location
I 25 north on the frontage road north of exit 119. I was out in the open facing north looking at Colorado springs.Time
This was late afternoon around 7 or 8 pm.Lighting
I love the long exposure and the late afternoon light makes for a really well lit shot when you go 10-15 seconds.Equipment
I used my trusty Nikon D810 with my 28-300mm working lens.Inspiration
I love lightning. My grandfather used to take me outside during a storm and I just don't have much fear of lightning thanks to him.Editing
Very little. I feel like a colorblind monkey when it comes to post production editing so I don't do much. A little white balance and some fill light and that's about it.In my camera bag
I carry more than I should. D810, with several lenses. 50mm f1.8, 85mm f1.8, 70-200 f2.8, 24-70 f2.8, 15-30 f2.8, and my working lens 28-300 f3.4-5.6Feedback
Have no fear. I don't recommend going out like I do. I know the risks and willingly accept the consequences of any mistakes I make.
