These guys have been regulars at our place for years and earlier this year we noticed one of them had a broken upper beak. This did not seem to bother him too much and he is still a regular with his partner at our place in the Gold Coast hinterland in Queensland, Australia. If you check out some of my other photos you will see some juvenile pied butcher birds which we believe are the offspring of this guy.
