Spider of the genus Argyrodes, also called Dewdrop or Quikcksilver spider, occur worldwide. They are kleptoparasitic (i.e. they steal other spiders' prey) and reside in their host's web even though they can spin their own. They are like a fascinating pearl with legs.

WOW! what a TOP SHOT!! I love it! Considering you don't have a macro yet, the close up lenses have worked very well indeed! Great focus, viewpoint, definition, color and composition. VERY INSPIRING!!
Thanks also for the interesting info on this, more members should include the story.

Aww... thanks Irene. This little fella inspired me to do some research. As you know, I don't like 8 leggers and usually wouldn't photograph (too shaky) but this one was like a little pearl, truly amazing.

Well this my dear was taken with my nifty fifty... I don't have a macro lens so used a close up filter with another stacked on top. It is severely cropped though
