I took this Photo at the Melbourne ZooTime
I have visited the Melbourne Zoo on a few occasions, and this leopard has been very elusive, so one afternoon I decided to be more patient and waited for a couple of hours around feeding time.The cage area of this animal is very challenging to photograph due to the tiny hole in the wire fencing and a barrier to keep the public away from the fence.At feeding time this animal is constantly on the move, I was trying to manually focus and also avoiding any distracting features in the cage area taking into consideration the little light available at the time.Lighting

Patience, patience, patience, persistence,persistence,persistence. study the animal you are photographing, avoid the crowded areas, focus on the eyes of the animal, respect the animals,Never use flash on the animal,do not get in the way of other visitors, animals are more mobile before feeding time or early morning
