In a sense these make a statement about our past - from plate camera's to the trusty 35mm SLR's - all surpassed by the digital era. No more hours of image manipulation in darkrooms, but sadly, perhaps a loss of some skills in terms of getting it as right as possible in the viewfinder.

Super photo. I agree, I like digital for a number of reasons, but with the many editing programs you don't need to be a 'photographer' because you can manipulate the image after. I prefer to show what I saw, not what a program sees.

Hey Bill, if you san/have used just some of these then you get my top award. I still have a passion for film but mr 5D Mk111 is almost there i have been lazy. I really want a good lens with a film oversize camera. I started when i was a teen with a PENTAX SPII. I HAVE WORN IT OUT BUT I COULD DRIVE IT WITHOUT AN EYE OF THE TARGET. That was fun time. Patrick
