I took this photo on a table in my living room.Time
It was taken in evening around 6:30 PM.Lighting
Lighting was very simple, just an on-camera flash, bounced through the roof.Equipment
This was shoot on Canon 7D body with 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and a Canon 580EX ll flash.Inspiration
My wife was making salad and chopping cucumber for that on the table and this lens was also on that table with it's filter open. When I saw both cucumber and this lens together, I suddenly got idea to shoot like this. I placed two more filters and told my wife to hold the lens like she is cutting it. This is how this picture comes.Editing
Nothing special done in post processing, just level adjustment and sharpening. In my camera bag
One camera body, one lens (usually Canon 24-70 f/4) and a flash (Canon 580EX ll). One extra card and lens cleaning pen are always in my bag.Feedback
Sometimes you don't need expensive gears or complicated lighting setup to take a memorable picture. This photo is one of my best photos and it was taken casually with simple equipment's. It's a perfect example that if you present normal everyday things in creative way, it can become a masterpiece. ========== FOR YOU ONLY ========== >> English is not my primary language so it you feel like making any changes, please do it. >> If you want to include my website address, it's www.clickmanic.com. ========== ========== ==========
