Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken just outside of York Western Australia.

Time

It was a cool afternoon with some pending storms.

Lighting

I don't tend to do a lot of editing so no tricks with the lighting it was just as nature intended.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D800 with a 50mm Nikkor lens on a tripod.

Inspiration

I love to have vivid colors in my photos when I can. The scene blew me away as we drove passed so I couldn't help but stop and try my luck.

Editing

I use a very minimalist press when it comes to editing so normally it's just a White Balance adjustment and a color enhancement.

In my camera bag

Nikon D800, and depending on the event a Sigma 150mm-600mm lens for racing and a 10mm-24mm sigma, Nikkor Nifty 50mm for most other things. Oh and a tripod and flash to.

Feedback

Be patient and keep at it, try different things and think outside the box.
