The photo was taken in my home garden when my pet kittens went for a stroll, I am a self taught and trying to learn with every shot I take. Love shooting these cute guys running a mock around my home.Time
One of my most favorite images I oved the way my kitten pounced on my camera to have a look at me. It was around noon a cloudy afternoon was bored and just saw my kittens jumping into our garden. Took my Cyber shot handy cam jumped along with my kitties and started shooting. This little guy went for a walk thought I would get him when he turns but he turned and jumped on me had to lay down myself on the ground and get a picture of him staring and posing for the shot. It was taken on 16.08.2013, 11.20 PMLighting
It was a cloudy afternoon not much of hard light from the sun but ample soft light due to the clouds. No extra lighting was required being a close up shot and the kitten being all over the lens natural soft light was adequate for the shot.Equipment
The shot was captured in a Sony cyber shot digital camera with 6mm, ISO 100, F 3.5Inspiration
I like shooting close ups and saw my kittens jump into the garden for a stroll, they started playing around and pouncing on each other. Small elegant kittens which are such beauty to watch and just took my cyber shot which was ready and jumped into the scene so as not to miss it.Editing
No post processing was done being a direct JPEG image and I think the picture was good enough without any editing. In my camera bag
My gear constitutes of a Nikon D5200 which is really good worth the buy and while travelling I ensure to have both my lens wrapped up and setup ready for the shot. When I travel around places if its a landscape that I cover I use my 18mm - 55mm lens which does a good job for me in covering my landscape shots and for birds and other shots I use my 55mm - 200mm lens which also does a great job in covering a bit of distance between me and my subject.Feedback
If your trying to Capture ur pets just walk around with them along and keep your eyes on them, You can never know when they give u the best chance to have a good shot. I actually was lying along the ground letting the kitty to play around me so that I can capture the shot. Always let the subject do what it wants and be prepared for the moment.
