This image was achieved by holding the macro lens of my camera about 12 inches away from the base of a yellow, ribbed, thick glass fruit bowl, and positioning the bowl just above a Dwarf Nandina bush in the garden, on a very sunny day. You'll see the star-shaped base of the bowl, the ribbed sides, and the many refractions in the glass containing the red, cream and burgundy colours of the shrub's leaves, and the refracted blue from the sky in a few of the ribs. This image was then processed in Photoshop, where the saturation and contrast was significantly increased, in order to achieve a pretty unusual but fascinating result.
