This is one of my favorite shots from that day. Absolutely perfect way to capture the grandeur of it all.

Location
I took this photo in the living room of a wedding vendor's home. I love the story behind this day. Originally this was set up to be a styled shoot for several local wedding vendors. The model bride in the photo was actually a bride-to-be who had not been far into the planning stage. A week before the shoot, and after trying on the dress she decided to make this day her actual wedding day, with a very small and intimate ceremony in this very room. It was so cool and so fun and made this photoshoot even more enjoyable and meaningful.Time
It was taken mid afternoon.Lighting
There was beautiful, soft light coming in a large window next to the bride.Equipment
I used a nikon D90, and a 35mm lensInspiration
After taking several frames of this shot from different, typical, predictable angles and areas of the room, I was looking for something a little more creative. As I scanned the room and saw the mirror and the bride perfectly framed in the one square, I saw the shot and captured it. It came out just as I had pictured it in my head.Editing
Not really. It's pretty close to SOOC. A little noise reduction and slight sharpening. That's basically it.In my camera bag
Two nikon d90s. Two nikon sb700 speed lights. 4 lenses. A 35 mm, 50 mm, 70-210mm telephoto zoom, 18-105 mm zoom.. An LED video light, a couple light stands and shoot through umbrellas, lots of memory cards and batteries.Feedback
Look for good light. Don't JUST shoot what you see in front of you. Capture the typical shots and then look for something different to add to it. Something not so obvious. Be creative and think outside the box. Be aware o your composition. Have fun with it.
