Behind The Lens

Location

Orlando, Florida around one of the DisneyWorld lakes

Time

Early morning before any people were around. Hand held. Taking photos of this Snowy Egret and it suddenly took off.

Lighting

It was a hazy grey morning and I was just trying to get as many shot in before the rain.

Equipment

This was when I was still using my Nikon D90 and Nikkor Zoom 70-300

Inspiration

I love nature photography, specifically birds. Being on a Florida Coast makes it easy to spend time with water birds of all types but I love all birds.

Editing

No post processing

In my camera bag

Now I always have 2 Nikon D600's, Nikkor 200-500 and Nikkor 28-300. Always extra cards, batteries and a tripod which I don't use often enough. I don't own a flash but need to seriously think about finding one and branching out.

Feedback

Patience, always patience and practice, and a good amount of luck!!
