Day 139 of 365 Challenge (May 19, 2015) - This Trillium is for my awesome mate Chrissi. I posted a Trillium but it was farther back as I wanted to keep the leaves in the photo but I posted this one close up just for Chrissi. As you can see it is no longer a white Trillium and that is because as the flower ages, it turns pink. Many people mistake this for being an entirely different species of Trillium but it isn’t ….. it’s old but still beautiful!
