Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken in the National Park Las Tablas de Daimiel (Ciudad Real), Spain.

Time

It was taken in the morning near 12:00 am, from inside a public hide.

Lighting

Because there was some strong sunlight outside, a flash was used to fill shadows.

Equipment

A Nikon D7100 witha a Sigma 150-600 F/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports was used.

Inspiration

It was a great moment, because the swallow was very close and very nicely about people inside the public hide. So I can compose and shoot with calm beside of using the flash.

Editing

Post-processing was very simple: contrast, white balance adjust and little more.

In my camera bag

Nikon D7100, Sigma 17-70 F/2.8-4 DC OS HSM Contemporary, Nikon 18-200 F/3.5-5.6 VR, Nikon 35 F1,8 G, Tamron 90mm F/2,8, Sigma 150-600 F/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports, Teleconverter 1,4X, Cable Shutter reléase, IR Shutter reléase, Flash.

Feedback

Always try to be invisible, using camouflage clothes and be quiet to avoid animals can detect you, and do slow movements of your equipment. And finally, be patient, before or later an animal will be close to you and can shoot your expected photo
