The photo was taken on a beautiful sunny day in Singapore, and these beautiful frangipani are white with a yellow centre.Time
I believe it was mid afternoon.Lighting
Natural lighting. The sun was quite high and not much cloud.Equipment
Nikon Df with a 24-70 f2.8.Inspiration
Just that these flowers are stunning.Editing
The flame like effect was really a fortunate discovery during post processing. I had reduced the exposure on the background in Lightroom. I opened the photo in Color Efex and was applying an infra red effect. That's when I found that playing with the exposure and contrast brought out these fantastic flames. Try it out. It seems to work really well with yellow and white flowers. In my camera bag
Nikon Df. 24-70 f2.8 and a nifty 50. Fuji X100T.Feedback
Any software which replicates infra red. In this case I used Nik Color Efex. Experiment with the colours of the subject. I have found white and yellow really works well.
