Inspiration

The mangrove plant was set apart from the surrounding mangroves on the beach. I glanced at it and thought to myself it is standing alone in the sand far from the massive mangroves. Could easily have been stepped on, raked over etc. but it stood its ground and seemed to express to me, even though I stand alone, I am strong and resilient to every obstacle around me.

In my camera bag

Recently lost camera while setting out to photograph any wildlife I could find. While driving to a nature preserve, a vehicle traveling opposite direction crossed the median hitting my vehicle head on. After being removed from accident via ambulance in the confusion camera was towed away with my vehicle, not to be seen again. I am currently a photographer without my tools. Truly saddened by this event.

Feedback

Take the time to look around you, sometimes the most smallest of everything surrounding you can be missed. Take your time, look at object you are considering to photograph and take lighting, aperture setting, shutter speed, iso into consideration. You just may capture a photograph that inspires others.
