Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this photo in my terrace garden where many flower plants attract many species of insects giving nice photo opportunities.

Time

It was about 10 am when most activities of such insects are seen.

Lighting

The lighting was over cast helping for this nice shot without harsh shadows.

Equipment

I used Canon EOS 1000 D camera with Canon EF-S 55-250mm lens only,handheld.

Inspiration

The activity of insects usually inspires me to take their photos.Here the black Carpenter Beetle and the bright orange color flower were nice subjects for the shot.The flying beetle here has given the lively touch to the image.

Editing

I cropped the image and adjusted color saturation to some extent.

In my camera bag

I always have Canon EOS 1200 D camera with Canon EF-S 18-55 mm and the Canon EF-S 55-250mm lenses along with some additional memory cards,spare battery.

Feedback

Patience is the most wanted feature to take nice photos of anything.Your body should be elastic for any awkward positions with your body fitness.Ever searching eyes always needed which capture some drama going on which is not seen by a common man.
