Sunrise over CSX

7am Sunrise from Front Yard Near Calhoun, GA. The house had just been purchased by a friend for resale. We enjoyed two weeks there. What was awesome (a word I rarely use) was hearing the echo of the train's whistle bounce from the distant tree line when one was going south. The echo of each short blast would run ahead of the train, unbroken. It was almost like watching the length of sound race ahead. It was not a simple echo, such as we're all familiar. It was as if I could watch the stretch of sound moving south, rebounding from the far wall. We sat on the screened front porch and never waited long for another train, day or night.

This particular morning was perfect with the fog in the valley-like low area through which the railroad passes. As the sun came up and colors started popping, my camera was clicking.
