Python

I believe it was 1984, I was in a serpentarium and saw this python, in this same position yawn. Quickly the tripod was positioned and I wiped fingerprints off the plexiglass. Forty-five minutes I stood there, expecting the reptile to slide its head back underneath and that would pop my little bit of hope. But patience paid off and my Canon AE-1, with Kodak 100 and a slow shutter (low light in those places) gathered the light from the second yawn that I saw.
