This tawny owl was very briefly in my care, before she was released into the wild. For over a decade she visited our garden for food handouts, sometimes months passed without us seeing her. This night I threw her food before me, and caught this shot of her, mid pounce, with my old camera.it is a special picture to me personally, and reminds me of many happy years spent watching her on her moonlit hunts.
