this tawny owl was rehabilitated by us many years ago. never handled, she was released from her aviary and came back nightly for the food hand-outs we provided. Each year she, and her partner would fly from the woods to our house with their owlets for the food. I took the opportunity to take some shots of this fully wild but confiding creature.
