Location
The phot was taken at WWT Martin Mere, Lancashire England.Time
This was taken around 11 o'clock in the morning. I alway try and get to Martin Mere around 10 in the morning.Lighting
It was a bit of a dull day. So I used a longer exposure than I would normally for wildlife.Equipment
I used a Nikon D3200 with a Tamron 150 - 600mm lens. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I have always loved the colours of the Mandarin Duck and with the reflection I could not resist.Editing
I did a small crop and adjusted the levels slightly. In my camera bag
a Nikon D3200, my 150 - 600mm lens. Plus a 50mm prim lens and a 18 - 270mm lens. I also carry spare batteries, memory cards and my tripod.Feedback
Be prepared to wait for the shot that you want. When the opportunity presents itself take it.
