This was taken at a drive through park that I went to for my birthday.
I love the innocent and curious expression of the deer as it approached me.
This was a wonderful moment and look how shiny and wet the nose is....

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this image at Arbuckle Wilderness Park in Oklahoma with friends for my birthday. I lived in Dallas, TX at the time and it was a fun road trip where I wanted to spend quality time with animals, photography, nature and friends.

Time

This was taken during the day.

Lighting

No, it was a nice and sunny day.

Equipment

This was taken at the beginning of my photographic journey. I used a Fuji Fine Pix which is at the time high end point and shoot.

Inspiration

I love nature and animals. The closer the better. When I took this image, I was in the back seat of my friend's car hanging out the window...lol The animals know that people have the food to feed them. The animals approach the car for their treats.

Editing

Yes, I did, but the image will let me know where to take me. Again, this taken at the beginning of my journey and I didn't really know where I was heading. My evolution has changed so much.

In my camera bag

At that particular time, it was just my camera and I. Now, it's a whole different ball game.

Feedback

Patience is the best advice. Do not put yourself in danger because you and the animal can be at risk. Have respect for the animal that you are capturing with your camera. I was very lucky to get this shot and it's one of my favorites. Also, when I am blessed to spend quality animal time with an animal, I always tell them thank you for this special encounter.
