Slowly i close my shutter, blurring al things that is in motion, the waves and the clouds and all the things my mind retain from last night's fantasy. The faint light of gold that signals a new day is a welcome to the stills of the rocks. Soon the magic will be done and all the colors wil be soak into the silver ray of the mighty Sun!

Location
This photograph was taken along the coast of Pacific Ocean, Province of Aurora, Philippines. A sleepy town with al its natural resources still intact.Time
As always Landscapes are best either very early in the morning or late afternoon. In this particular shot we camp by the ocean side, shooting for stars at the pitch black sky and as early as 4:30AM we are already up and patiently waiting for the break of dawn to capture all the magical lights the morning has to offer.Lighting
The ocean view is so spectacular, the rays of the new sun is just about to show its wonder, waves are so active and unpredictable so i decided to soften the mood by making the violent dance of the waves silky blurr against the stills of the rocks.Equipment
My favorite landscape lens as always is the ultra wide 10-20mm, attached to it are three stack filters, 0.9 hard grad, ND filter and a polarizer. Nikon D300S mounted on Manfrotto tripod, Remote shutter release.Inspiration
I love landscape, and every photograph i shoot has always those treasured memories that attached to it. Looking back to all my photographs even after years, it's so fulfilling to reminisce the experience during photoshoots.Editing
Most of my landscape photograph and this one is no exception undergoes post-processing but in a very restrained manner like color saturation, sharpening and those dust mark removals. Adjusting contrast and darkness also are done to stress shades and shadows. In my camera bag
I don't really carry heavy bag so that i can explore more than the planned activity, usually for landscape i only have two lenses inside my backpack, 10-20mm ultra wide and 70-200mm f2.8 for compressed perspective, array of ND and Grad filters and my manfrotto tripod. Either the Canon 5D MkIII or my good old favorite NikonD300S or the NikonD810 but only one camera body at a time. Always i have a small mirrorless camera on my pocket.Feedback
Always before you fire that shutter release, stand before the grandiose of the landscape, memorize that beauty, the feelings and the experience so by the time you're already in front of your computer (for processing) you know at what level you have to drag all those RAWs.
